Movies

I don't go to the cinema very often, but I love watch movies. Since I go to the cinema one or twice a month, I  spend a lot of time watching movies on Netflix or websites. The kind of films I like the most are action and history films, and a little bit reports and documentaries films.

My all time favourite film is Roman Polanski's "The Pianist", which tells the story of a Polish Jew called Wladyslaw Szpilman, a classical musician, who survived the Holocaust through stoicism and good luck. Is not a thriller, and avoids any temptation to crank up suspense or sentiment; it is the pianist's witness to what he saw and what happened to him. That he survived was not a victory when all who he loved died. Wladyslaw Szpilman is played in this film by Adrien Brody, who is an excellent actor. I love this film because the Holocaust and Nazi Germany it's something I've always liked to read and watch, so I obviously would recommend this masterpiece.

A film that I've don't see in a long time is "A Lot Like Love", starring by Amanda Peet and Ashton Kutcher. I would like to see it again, because the first time I did it's made me cry and I had a good time watching this movie.
