My favorite TV show

My favorite TV show is an american reality called Dance Moms. Dance Moms is about the Abby Lee Dance Company's Junior Elite Competition Team, that is a team of dancers aged six to fourteen years old as they traveled week-to-week to various dance competitions, winning awards and preparing for Nationals. The show is called "Dance Moms" because the best part is the mothers of the team whom often are arguing with Abby Lee Miller, because she is exigent with their daughters and because she often shows favoritism for a student (Maddie), treating her better and giving her solo dance pieces. The Abby Lee Company have so much students, but the show is focused in the Elite team, that is composed by seven students: in the third season, my favorite, the students (characters?) were Maddie, Mckenzie, Nia, Kendall, Paige, Chloe and Brooke. My favorite episode is the episode seven of the third season, because in this episode Abby Lee Miller is beaten by the coach of another dance team

My best friend

My best friend's name is Paula. I met her in the school like 8 years ago, and we have been friends for 7 years. I consider her my best friend because I can trust her. She knows all my secrets and I know hers too. The time passes by so fast when I am with her, she is so funny and charismatic person. Even we have so different tastes (I mean, for having fun she prefers to read a book while a like to play a videogame), we understand each other well. I couldn't choose a best memory that I have with her, it's so difficult because I remember with affection each time that we we're together, but if I have to I would choose that time when we had a blast in the graduation day. Now, we can't see each other that often like when we were in our school days, because we study in different universities and in different cities. It's so sad, but I hope we can soon. I miss her so much and I have a lot of things that I want to tell her.

Well, this is kind of sad but I've never been to a concert (I mean, the properly meaning of a concert) in my entire life, so I'll talk about something that is similar. Four or five years ago, in some kind of celebration of my dad's job in a theatre of Viña del Mar, there were singers and an orchesta for the party. In that situation I was bored, but suddenly a Frank Sinatra's impersonator started his presentation. When I heard  him, I was so impressed. He was a young handsome man, he didn't even looked like the real Sinatra, but his voice sounded so similar like him. I remember that when the man started to sing My Way I was in love because it's one of my favorite songs of all times. I enjoyed his presentation so much, it was sad when he finished and another singer took his place. I mean, that kind of music isn't really my style, but I love Sinatra's songs and that man was so cool.

My name is Patricia, I'm 20 years old and by the time being I'm studying Public Administration. Even that I like learning different languages, I'm not good at English (yet), because it's so difficult for me pronunce the words. I don't really think that I have skills at the language, but somehow I don't stink that much at reading English, so I think that is a progress. Anyway, I'm trying my best so I hope that my skills at language (speaking, listening and writting) improve with this class, because I would like to be able to speak with an English native speaker with absolutely confidence someday. In addition to the class, I try read comics or news in english to improve my skills at the language.

A country I would like to visit

There is a place I’ve always wanted to go, but I have never had the money to do it. That country is Japan, what a beautiful place. Everything that I know about Japan is what I’ve read from articles and tourist guides and what I have seen in photos. I know that Japan has the fastest train in the world, that is called “bullet train” in English or something like that. I would love to have a ride on it. The architecture there is so refined, I mean in the urban city and in the islands as well. For example, if I could go there, I would love to live the nightlife in Shibuya (one of the Japanese urban districts) or relax some days in the temples of Kyoto. In addition, I would obviously like to study, work and live there if it’s possible. The people there are so polite, the gastronomy is just delicious and the country is so safe (Japan's crime rate is very low).

Paulo Freire's Legacy

An expert on my field I really admire is Paulo Freire. He was one of the most important critical educators of the 20th century, also he is well known for being the major exponent of Education in South America. I read his books and applaud him, because we're all accustomed to appreciate only the works of Americans or Europeans. It's not fair, South America has many experts in different disciplines and we are wasting this talent. Regarding Paulo Freire's personal life, he was born in September 19, 1921 to a middle-class family in Recife, Brazil. His alma mater was University of Recife. Also, based on the positive reception of his works "Education as the Practice of Freedom" and  "Pedagogy of the Oppressed" he was offered a visiting proffesorship at Hardvard University in 1969. Since his occuppation was educator, after a year in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA, Freire moved to Geneva, Switzerland to work as a special education advisor to the World Council of

Pets & Animals ♡

I consider myself an animal lover. I can't stand the experiments in animals, people shouldn't do that. Animals feel the pain, so we shouldn’t torture them. I don’t think it is right to keep wild animals in zoos, because a zoo is a jail for animals, and they have not done anything wrong to be locked up. Wild animals have to live their life everywhere they want, we can’t decide for them. I got my first puppy when I was almost 13, I called her Turquoise and we live together. She is so cute and playfull. I wanted to have a kitty or another puppy, but my mom says that one pet is enough. I don’t think so, but my mom buys Turquoise’s food, so she is who spends the money. When I get a job, I would like to have a hedgehog, because they are cute and tiny. I would call my hedgehog  Sonic .
